At Octant Douro, the Visiting Practitioners programme is built around that idea.
We welcome guest therapists with distinct approaches and international experience, bringing practices, techniques and ways of caring that go beyond the everyday.
During these temporary residencies, the SPA transforms. The menu evolves, the pace slows down and each experience becomes more personal, more focused, more rare. These therapies are designed for those seeking more than relaxation. For those who want to realign body and mind, release accumulated tension and leave feeling different from when they arrived.
Here, wellbeing is not routine. It is something that happens. For a limited time.

Some therapies work the body. Others go deeper.
A specialist in Thai and Oriental medicine, Paulneel works through energy, breath and the release of deeply held tension. Each session is a process of unlocking, allowing the body to regain mobility, lightness and balance.
Through deep techniques and precise movements, the focus is on restoring the body’s natural flow and enabling true recovery.

An osteopath and Pilates instructor, Odete Cruz works the body in an integrated way, promoting alignment, mobility and a deep sense of lightness.
Her sessions combine technical expertise with an intuitive approach, tailored to each individual. The result is a body that feels freer, more aligned and in balance

Through sound, touch and scent, she guides the body into a slower rhythm and a state of reconnection.
